　　阅读材料讲wetland 里面鬼火 will-o'-the-wisp 的原因，三个：1)埋在里面的有机体
释放出可燃的气体;2)是一种electric spark;3)一种能发光的蘑菇附着在鸟身上.
　　听力反驳：1)可燃气体是不动的，但是人们看见的鬼火是move around;2)electric
spark是在wetland下面的rock中生成的，不会跑到上面来;3)这种蘑菇的发光物质在体内，要
broken into pieces 才有用，但是这种物质不sticky，所以会从鸟身上掉下来.

　　综合： Everglades are faced with severe environmental problems 。1：invasive
plants 2: decrease of the amount of water 3: mercury which do harm to all the
species
　　听力：这些都是可以解决的啦。workable solutions :1 : 这是因为以前采用的
fertilizer add too much nutrition to the soil which help the growth of the
invasive plants 只要 restrict 就行了
　　2： 这是因为 以前 dig out channels to drain water away， 只要 remove the
channels就行了
　　3：这是因为 burn of coal 只要用新的power plant which contain low amount of
mercury就可以了

　　Anglor 是一个著名的城市，但是它在1500之后人口decline了，文章给出了三个decline
的原因： 1. 因为有大量财富，吸引了很多invader， 不断的invade 最终有Thai Kingdom占
领了这个城市。导致城市decline 2. 因为religious的改变。 原来的国王信仰叫做“god of
kings” 就建了很多temple， 后来变成了Buddhism， temple就less important了， 最后城
市就被abandon了 3. 因为一次1500年很长时间的干旱，都没吃的了。人们最后走了去找吃的
了。

　　lecture： 全盘否定：1.作为一个invader，占领城市的第一件事情不是drive everyone
out而是just took the city and keep the population。 这是recover经济的根本。 2. 在
那个时期，还有很多其他的信仰 overlapped在这个城市， 这么多年都过去了，不能说
buddhism就是原因。 3. 有example表明，在1500之前 1200年左右，有一次更长 更严重的干
旱，湖边的water plant都变成drought plant了 但是城市依然存活下来。

综合：讲的是build wildlife crossings, reading 提出了some critics。1.animal不像
domestic animals不会cross，另外，few animal use them according to the research。
2.花费cost了，就是很花钱又不值得的意思。3，developed areas 已经damaged很严重，似
乎没必要建了。
listening说1.animal 有很强的adapt的能力，况且use crossings的animal increase
dramaticly in the last ten years,it just need to take a long time。2，这样的花费
相比于发生车祸和撞死animal的代价相比非常划得来。还protect了people3. 正式因为road
才使得area的environment affected，如果建立crossing的话可以help animals overcome。
。。并且maintain the population

1）Venus上有yellow or golden light被称为Ashen Light，文章解释了3个原因
a)是Venus和Sun的紫外线radiation作用，氧原子变成氧分子，这个过程产生黄光
b)是Venus的day side的storm中不规律的flash
c）是观察的设备或天气原因，可能这现象压根就是幻象
听力：
教授“虽然这个问题没有彻底被解决，但阅读文字说得不对。”
a)这个过程发出的是绿光，instead of yellow or golden light
b)Venus的day side是对着太阳的，但这个现象是被观察到在dark side的，所以不是
storm引发的。
c)不同的观察者在不同的时间不同的地点用不同的设备看到的，所以不能说是
instruments or weather 的faulty
结论，这个现象是real phenomenon, 不是幻象
2）科学家是否要share scientific discoveries. government and business是否该分享研
究成果。
这个题目很大很宏观，说实话我觉得挺难写的，因为也很抽象。最后码了大概近500个字
，2个实例和比喻都用了，反正尽力了。
