斯卡布罗集市是电影《毕业生》主题曲之一 《卡萨布兰卡》并不是电影《卡萨布兰卡》里的插曲，而是上世纪70年代由 Bertie Higgins（贝特·希金斯）在看完这部电影后有感而写出的，用的是电影的名字。
斯卡布罗（scar borough）最早在大约一千年前由viking(维京)人在英格兰的西北部登陆后逐渐成为一个重要的港口。中世纪时期，斯卡布罗是来自全英格兰甚至还有欧洲的商人经常聚集的一个海边重镇。
