IELTS test content
Listening test: 30 minutes to listen to the recording and 10 minutes to transcribe the answers. Candidates will hear four different recordings, each played only once, containing both monologues and dialogues, and will hear different English accents and dialects during the exam. Each recording has 10 questions, a total of 40 questions, and the difficulty of the recording will gradually increase.
Speaking test: 11 to 14 minutes. One-on-one interviews are used to test candidates' ability to speak daily, describe familiar topics at a certain length, and interact with the examiner. It is divided into three modules, general questions, card questions, and interactive Q&A between examiners and candidates at the end.
Reading exam: 60 minutes in total, including 3 essays and 40 questions. 1 article about 1400 words, corresponding to 13-14 questions IELTS registration Ministry of Education , an average of 18 minutes to complete, which means reading 76 words per minute. 1 question needs to be completed in 1.5 minutes.
